My name is Carly, and I’m the photographer behind Carly Sirven Photography. I’m a Philly girl (go birds) from Florida and would love to document your special moments and reasons to celebrate!
My Approach
My approach to photography is comforting yet creative, inclusive, and authentic to you — natural movement over rigid posing, candid smiles, laughter, and happy tears. My background is in documentary production. I’ve always been passionate about seeing the moment as it unfolds rather than choreographing it. My work is rooted in savoring the emotions behind cinematic moments, creating true and timeless images that you can treasure for years to come.
Your wedding day deserves attention to detail. I know choosing your photographer takes a lot of trust. I understand the flow of a wedding day and am prepared to adapt as needed. My goal is for you to have the time of your life on your big day. Leave the rest to me!
With 10+ years of experience behind the camera, I am an insured wedding vendor who always has a backup plan: at least two of every piece of equipment, rain gear, and five external hard drives (just counted all of them on my desk to be sure). I’m Type A, but the excitement of a wedding day fuels my creativity. No two weddings are the same. Not to mention, getting to celebrate with you makes this the best job in the world!

My current service areas are Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs, New York City, New Jersey, Northern Delaware, and the DMV. I’m always down for a trip, so please do inquire if your session leads beyond these cities!
